The women's volleyball team swept Garrett College twice before losing a tough contest to Penn St Beaver 3-1.  WCCC is currently 8-7 and has secured the number three seed in this weekends WPCC volleyball championships at Butler CCC.  The Wolfpack will square off against second seeded Butler CCC in round one of the championships on Saturday.  Game time is set for 11:00 am. 

The women's volleyball team rebounded from a tough weekend which saw them drop games to Butler 2-1 and Potomac St. 2-0 during the WPCC Crossover. WCCC lone win came against CCBC 2-0. They then rebounded to defeat ACM 3-0 along the way then dropped a tough conference match to Butler 3-1 on Monday. WCCC received outstanding play over the last week from Emily Sprankle (Leechburg) Maura McKenzie (Penn Trafford), Seneca Sleasman (Yough), Sarah Havrilla (Derry), Gina Moore (Yough) and Valarie Lazar (Belle Vernon). The Wolfpack are currently 5-5 on the season.

The women's volleyball team is making major strides after dropping their season opening matches to Butler CCC and Potomac St. Since then, WCCC has rebounded and has won 3 consecutive straight matches to improve to 3-2 on the season. The Wolfpack have swept PSGA, CCBC and ACM 3-0. Leading the way against ACM was middle hitter Emily Sprankle (Leechburg) (9 kills, 4 aces, 3 blocks, 2 digs) and with Seneca Sleasman (Yough) (8 kills, 2 digs and a block ).
