Continuing Education Business & Professional Development Classes Spring 2017

Westmoreland County Community College Continuing Education is offering a variety of online and classroom-based business and professional development courses starting in March.
Several classes address social media and web site issues, including: “Digital Marketing,” “Website Options for Business,” “Google Apps,” “Analyzing Website Traffic,” and “Productivity Apps for iPad.”
“Entrepreneur Boot Camp,” offered online starting April 3, provides insight into the characteristics, knowledge and skills needed to become a successful entrepreneur. Participants will be able to identify the abilities required of successful entrepreneurs and how to acquire them, develop goals to help establish a business, develop an outline the plan, and take home techniques to successfully manage a new business.
Other Internet-based classes for business owners and managers include “Six Sigma: Total Quality Application” and QuickBooks, starting monthly and “Introduction to Data Analysis” and “Management Boot Camp,” starting April 3.
Offerings scheduled at the Westmoreland Youngwood Campus include, “Essential Skills for New Supervisors,” which starts March 29 and “Dining Etiquette Dos and Don’ts,” which begins March 7.
