Westmoreland County Community College to Hold FAFSA Night Financial Aid Session

Westmoreland County Community College will hold a FAFSA Night financial aid session Thursday, February 16 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Youngwood campus.

Westmoreland’s financial aid office is offering free, personalized assistance for families of college-bound students who are completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, known as the FAFSA.  The event begins at 5 p.m. and remains open until 8 p.m.

College-bound students are welcome at FAFSA Night, or parents/guardians may attend on their own.  Attendees should bring the following documentation to the workshop to complete the FAFSA:

  • Social Security number (parent and student)
  • Driver’s license numbers
  • 2015 Federal tax returns (including W-2) for both parents if living in the same household
  • 2015 Federal tax returns (including W-2) for student
  • Records of untaxed income (child support received, investment, saving and checking account balances, and assets)

FAFSA Night is free and additional sessions are scheduled March 16 and April 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Youngwood Campus.
